Orthopedics Procedures

Arthroscopic Debridement

In this procedure, via 1-2 small incisons, a specialized instument is inserted into the joint space. The damaged bone and cartilage pieces are then removed and washed off. This is most commonly done in patients with Osteoarthritis in whom medical treatment does not provide relief from pain.

Meniscal Balancing

Menisci are structures present between two bones that help prevent rubbing of the bones against each other. Any tear to the meniscus that results due to trauma, is repaired by trimming and making the edges smooth. This surgery is called meniscal balancing.

ACL Reconstruction

Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) Reconstruction is done to repair a tear in this ligament. ACL is a tissue located in the knee, connecting the thigh bone and shin bone. Sports activities that involve excessive stretching of the legs, may cause the tear.

Arthroscopic Bankart Repair

This procedure is done to repair a tear in the structure that keeps the arm bone in place, within the shoulder joint cavity. This Arthroscopic technique ensures minimal side effects and quicker recovery.
